Safety

If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, at any time.
What Vream is
Vream is an AI dream journal for adults. The Voice is software, not a person. It is not therapy, it is not a crisis service, and nobody at Vream reads what you tell it or watches over you.
What it does when someone may be in danger
- Every dream and every message to The Voice is checked by automated rules for signs of suicidal thoughts, self-harm, abuse or danger to someone.
- If a dream shows those signs, Vream sets aside the reading, makes no pictures of it, responds with care, and points the person to someone they trust and to crisis support such as 988.
- If someone says something like this to The Voice, it stops talking about dreams, responds with care and points them to the same help.
- The Voice is instructed never to encourage self-harm or harm to anyone.
These checks are automated. They can miss things and can be wrong, so please do not rely on them.
