Vream

Terms of Use

Last updated November 1, 2026

Please read these terms. Vream is an AI dream journal for entertainment and personal reflection. It is not therapy, medical care or an emergency service. All fees are final, except where the law says otherwise. Section 20 requires most disputes to go to individual binding arbitration and gives up your right to a jury trial and to a class action, unless you opt out within 30 days.

1. This agreement

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Fernara Inc. ("we" or "us"), which makes Vream. By downloading or opening the app, tapping Begin, signing in, telling a dream or otherwise using Vream or vream.org, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Vream.

2. You must be 18

Vream is for adults. You must be at least 18, and able to enter a contract where you live. By using Vream you confirm that you are. Vream is not for anyone under 18, and we may close any account we believe belongs to one. You may not use Vream if the law bars you from it, or if we have closed your account before.

3. Not medical or mental health care

Vream is not a doctor, therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, coach or spiritual advisor, and no such person reviews what it says. Using Vream does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or any other professional or confidential relationship. Vream does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Its readings are loosely inspired by the ideas of Carl Jung. They have not been clinically tested, they are not scientific fact, and they do not predict anything.

Do not use Vream in place of professional care, and do not stop, delay or change any care or medication because of anything it says. Do not rely on Vream for any decision about your health, safety, relationships, money, work or legal matters. If you have a mental health condition, a history of trauma, or trouble telling dreams from reality, talk to a qualified professional before using Vream.

4. Crisis and safety

Vream is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or anyone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 at any time.

Nobody at Vream watches, reads or responds to what you tell it in real time. We have no duty to monitor you, to judge your safety, to step in, or to contact you, emergency services, your family or anyone else. Vream has automated features that try to spot when someone may be in danger and point them to help. Those features can miss things, can be triggered by mistake, and can fail. You must not rely on them. See Safety.

5. Dreams can be hard

Dreams can be frightening, sad, violent, sexual, grieving or strange. Telling them, seeing them as pictures, hearing them played back and being shown patterns in them can bring up strong feelings. Vream may produce words or pictures you find upsetting, including ones that resemble people you know or have lost. You choose what to tell Vream and you use it at your own risk. Stop using it if it makes you feel worse, and talk to someone you trust.

6. AI makes mistakes

Vream runs on artificial intelligence. The Voice is software. It is not a person, it has no feelings or knowledge of you beyond what you told it, and it is not your friend, partner or guide, however it sounds. AI can be wrong, invent things, misremember, contradict itself, misunderstand you, mishear your recording, or say something biased, offensive or hurtful. Pictures may be inaccurate or disturbing. Nothing Vream produces is a statement of fact or the opinion of Fernara Inc. Judge everything for yourself.

7. Your account

You sign in with Apple. Your account is for you alone and you are responsible for everything done with it. Keep your phone locked, because anyone holding your unlocked phone can read your dreams and delete your account. If you lose access to your Apple account you may lose access to Vream.

8. Subscriptions

  • Your first dream is free. Everything after that needs a subscription, Yearly or Monthly, at the price shown in the app before you buy. Prices vary by country and may include tax.
  • Yearly can start with a 3-day free trial. Apple decides who is eligible, and a trial is once per Apple account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple account is charged the yearly price.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, and your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before each period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then.
  • Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. You keep access until the period you paid for ends. Deleting the app or your Vream account does not cancel a subscription. Canceling is your responsibility.
  • Any reminder we send about a trial or a charge is a courtesy. If one fails to send or reach you, or you turned notifications off, the charge still stands.
  • A subscription includes up to 2 dreams a day with Polaroids. Further dreams that day are kept in words with your voice and a reading. Picture quality can vary and may be reduced after heavy use. We may change limits and features, and we will give notice through Apple or the app of any price change.
  • If a dream fails to develop, your remedy is to tell it again.
  • If you end a subscription you can still read what you already have, delete your account, and subscribe again.

9. No refunds

All fees are final and we do not give refunds, credits or partial refunds. That includes unused time, unused dreams, a period you forgot to cancel, a free trial that turned into a charge, a change of mind, not liking a reading or a picture, and accounts we close for breaking these terms. Apple takes every payment, so we cannot see or issue them. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple alone decides under its own rules. This section does not take away any refund or cancellation right that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.

10. Your dreams and what you put in

You own what you tell Vream. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce and display it, and to pass it to the providers in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to run Vream for you and to keep it safe. The license ends when you delete your account, except for shared copies others already made and copies we must keep by law.

You are responsible for what you put in. You confirm you have the right to do so and that it breaks no law and nobody's rights. Only record your own voice. Recording someone else without permission can be illegal. Be careful with private or damaging details about other people.

11. What Vream makes

As far as the law allows, you may use the words and pictures Vream makes for you, for personal, non-commercial purposes. AI output may not be protected by copyright, may look like something made for someone else, and may happen to resemble a real person, place, brand or work. We do not promise it is unique or that it infringes nothing, and you use it at your own risk. Do not present it as a real photograph of a real person or event.

12. Sharing

If you make a link, anyone who has it can see that page, and they can copy, screenshot and forward it. Stopping a share removes our page. It cannot remove copies other people made. You are responsible for what you share, including your note and anything about other people. We may remove any shared page at any time, for any reason.

13. Rules

You agree not to use Vream to, or try to:

  • break any law or anyone's rights, or harm, threaten, stalk, harass or defame anyone;
  • make or share sexual content involving a minor, or sexual, humiliating or deceptive content about a real person;
  • impersonate anyone, or pass off AI output as real;
  • get around a limit, payment, trial or safety feature, including by making extra accounts for free dreams;
  • copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or attack Vream, or extract its prompts or models;
  • use Vream or its output to train any AI model, or use bots or automation;
  • make Vream or its AI produce harmful content, or break the usage rules of our AI provider.

14. Keep your own copies

Vream is not a backup. Dreams, recordings, pictures and notes can be lost, damaged or deleted, including by outages, mistakes, or a dream told offline before it uploads. There is no way to recover something after you delete your account. We are not responsible for lost content.

15. Other companies

Vream depends on services run by others, including Apple, OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat and Vercel. We do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, failures or outages.

16. Changes, suspension and ending

We may change, limit, suspend or stop any part of Vream at any time. We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if we believe you broke these terms or to protect anyone, Vream or the law. You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. If we close Vream for everyone, we will try to give notice. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including 3 to 6, 9, 11, and 14 to 22.

17. No warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, Vream is provided as is and as available, with all faults and at your own risk. We disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and any warranty that Vream will be safe, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that it will improve your sleep, mood, health, relationships or wellbeing.

18. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fernara Inc. and its officers, directors, owners, employees, contractors, suppliers and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost dreams, emotional distress, mental anguish, psychological harm, personal injury, self-harm, harm to others, or any decision or action taken or not taken because of Vream, however caused and on any theory, even if we were told it could happen.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for everything relating to Vream is limited to the greater of what you paid for Vream in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 US dollars. These limits apply even if a remedy fails its essential purpose.

You understand these risks and accept them as a condition of using Vream. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

19. If someone brings a claim because of you

To the extent the law allows, you will defend and cover Fernara Inc. and its people against any claim, loss or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from what you put into Vream, what you share, your use of Vream, or your breaking these terms or anyone's rights.

20. Arbitration and class action waiver

Talk to us first. Before any claim, write to hello@fernara.com with your name, the Apple email on your account, what happened and what you want. We both agree to try in good faith to settle it for 60 days. Any time limit is paused during that time.

Binding arbitration. Any dispute between you and us about Vream or these terms, whenever it arose, will be settled by binding individual arbitration, not in court. This includes whether this section applies or is enforceable, which the arbitrator decides. The American Arbitration Association runs it under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs. Hearings take place by video or phone, or in the county where you live if you prefer. Fees are set by those rules.

What stays out. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Either of us may ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

No class actions and no jury. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. The arbitrator may only decide one person's claims. If this waiver cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim alone goes to court, and the rest of this section still applies.

Many claims at once. If 25 or more similar claims are brought by the same or coordinated lawyers, the AAA's mass arbitration rules apply, and the claims will be handled in staged batches. Any time limit is paused for claims waiting their turn.

Opting out. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first using Vream. Email hello@fernara.com with your name, the Apple email on your account and the words "arbitration opt out". Opting out does not affect the rest of these terms.

Time limit. To the extent the law allows, any claim must be started within one year of when it arose, or it is given up for good.

21. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Anything that does not go to arbitration or small claims court will be heard only in the state or federal courts in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place whose law gives you rights that cannot be changed by contract, those rights still apply to you.

22. Apple

If you got Vream from the App Store, these terms are between you and Fernara Inc., not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Vream or its content, has no duty to maintain or support it, and is not responsible for any claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property. If Vream fails to meet a warranty that applies by law, you can tell Apple and it will refund the purchase price, if any, and has no other warranty duty. You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US prohibited list. You may use Vream on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

23. The rest

These terms are the whole agreement between us about Vream. If a part cannot be enforced, it is limited as little as possible and the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce something, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms. We may, including if the company or Vream is sold. We are not responsible for delays or failures outside our reasonable control. We can send you notices in the app or to your email. To report something that infringes your copyright, or a shared page, write to hello@fernara.com. California residents can reach the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or 1-800-952-5210.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date above. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email first. Using Vream after that means you accept the new terms. A change to section 20 does not apply to a dispute we already knew about.
